striving for excellence means you always give your personal best – whatever that looks like at any given time, on any given day.

excellence means you choose to put forth quality effort with good intention.

two totally different angles on completing tasks, reaching goals and taking good care of yourself.
one will leave you discouraged, and very likely berating yourself in a self-mutilating narrative. the other will leave you satisfied.
aim for excellence. ditch perfectionism.
